This blog is for 2022 Dollywood Season Passholders, those who intend to purchase Season Passes by March 11 and Dollywood's lodging guests who are with us March 11.
We are excited to offer an exclusive Dollywood day for Season Passholders on Friday, March 11, 2022-the day before the park opens to the general public for the new season. Dollywood will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
All Dollywood Passholders (Silver, Gold and Diamond) are invited. If you do not have Season Passes yet, you may purchase online or at the gate beginning March 11. 
Also, all guests staying at Dollywood's DreamMore Resort and Spa or in one of Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Cabins is included.
When we talk about processing your Season Passes, we're referring to you getting your physical card-which includes getting your picture made. If you did not have Dollywood Season Passes last year, you need to process. 
If you DID have Dollywood Season Passes last year, but you had a different pass type, you need to process. Examples:
You can process at any ticket window at the park. Some of our Passholders processed during the Christmas season. If you need to process and haven't had a chance to do that yet, you'll need to do that on your first visit this season. On Friday, March 11, ticket windows will open at 8:30 a.m. for processing. If you are in the area before Passholder Preview Day, we will open our remote location (the yellow house on the Parkway at Traffic Light #8) next week: Monday - Saturday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. After next week (when the park is open for the first full week), the windows at the remote location will be open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on days Dollywood is open. We will close at 4 p.m. on Sundays.
Passholder Day is an exclusive opportunity for Season Passholders (and lodging guests) to enjoy the park before it opens to the general public. You can expect a typical day at the park with all rides operating, shows running and Dollywood's incredible food options available. 
To learn more about what you should expect for the 2022 season, read this blog. To welcome back our most loyal Passholders, we'll have a limited supply of Dollywood Season Passholder car magnets. And, you know want to make your day a little more special than that-we'll be hosting our first Golden Event of the 2022 season this day, too! I'll tell you more about that in the next section. Additionally, it will be the first day for Gold and Diamond Passholders to enjoy Golden Hour! For those who have a Gold or Diamond Season Pass, you can use that pass as a TimeSaver on TimeSaver eligible attractions during the first hour of park operation. So, if you're not attending the Golden Event, you should enjoy expedited line access with this brand-new perk!
Debuting this season, Dollywood has created some exclusive opportunities for our Gold and Diamond Season Passholders. To kick off the year with a bang, we decided the first Golden Event should be memorable: making her first public Dollywood appearance since 2019, we're thrilled to have Dolly join us to welcome Passholders to our 37th season. The event will take place in DP's Celebrity Theater, which means there is a limited number of seats. Gold and Diamond Passholders must RSVP if you want to attend. Everyone who enters this event must have their own Gold or Diamond Pass (children 3 and younger and children with a Pre-K Imagination Pass are the exception).
RSVPs are already coming in. I encourage you to let us know you plan to be there as soon as possible. Gold and Diamond Passholders who want to attend must RSVP through this link. Follow that link and register for the event so we save you a seat.
We will begin checking in event guests at 8 a.m. on Friday, March 11. This will happen at Dollywood's front gate. You must have your Gold or Diamond Pass in-hand to verify your eligibility. Proof of Purchase will work if you have not processed yet. (If this is you, remember, ticket windows will open at 8:30 a.m. so you can take care of that.) The rope will not drop until 9:30 a.m. At check-in, you will be given a Gold or Diamond lanyard. The seats in the theater are designated accordingly. Doors to the theater will open at 10 a.m. and the event begins at 10:30 a.m. It's going to be the best season yet. We're so excited you're planning to join us!
