We have introduced several new updates to the 2023 Season Pass program and we know that has generated a lot of great questions! We hope this blog will help clear up some of the confusion and get you well on your way to spending more time with your family here at Dollywood in 2023!

Yes! Since your 2022 Season Pass already includes admission during the 2022 season, you can visit any operating day during 2022's Smoky Mountain Christmas presented by Humana.
No. Since your 2022 Season Pass already includes admission during the 2022 season, you can visit any operating day during 2022's Smoky Mountain Christmas presented festival regardless if you renew. The Silver Pass blackout dates don't go into effect for renewals until the 2023 season.
The blackout dates for new 2023 Silver Passes (NOT renewals) are 11/22/22 - 1/1/23 and 11/24/23 - 1/6/24 at Dollywood and 7/3/23 - 7/9/23 at Dollywood's Splash Country (if purchasing a Two-Park Silver Pass). Renewed 2023 Silver Passes have blackout dates during the 2023 season: 11/24/23 - 1/6/24 at Dollywood and 7/3/23 - 7/9/23 at Dollywood's Splash Country (if renewing a Two-Park Silver Pass). Silver Passes are valid all other operating days outside of these blackout dates (that includes Fridays and Saturdays!). No! After customer feedback, blackout dates have been removed from Child Season Passes at all tier levels for both the 2022 and 2023 operating seasons. That means your child can visit with you as long as your pass is valid!
No. Your Silver Season Pass has different blackout dates than the Silver BAFF tickets. New 2023 Silver Passes have blackout dates of 11/22/22 - 1/1/23 and 11/24/23 - 1/6/24 at Dollywood and 7/3/23 - 7/9/23 at Dollywood's Splash Country (if purchasing a Two-Park Silver Pass). Silver BAFF tickets have blackout dates of Fridays, Saturdays, and 3/24/23 - 4/8/23, 10/2/23 - 10/15/23, 11/24/23 - 1/6/24 at Dollywood and Fridays, Saturdays and 7/3/23 - 7/9/23 at Dollywood's Splash Country(if purchasing a Two-Park Silver Pass). No. Your 2023 BAFF tickets are only valid during the 2023 season.
Yes! Gold and Diamond Passes can be used ANY OPERATING DAY in the 2023 season, AND during Smoky Mountain Christmas in 2022. Gold and Diamond BAFF tickets can also be used ANY OPERATING DAY during the 2023 season (including Fridays and Saturdays!). You can now also use as many of your allotted BAFF tickets during your visit as you like as long as the passholder who received the BAFF tickets is present.
If you are interested in taking advantage of exclusive Gold and Diamond Passholder perks like Golden Hours (TimeSaver access the first operating hour each day) and Golden Events, everyone in the family will need a Gold or Diamond pass. If those benefits aren't right for your family, a Child Silver Season Pass now has NO BLACKOUT DATES. That way, parents can take advantage of the Gold and Diamond Pass discounts and the kids can still visit with them as long as their pass is valid!
If you wait to renew or purchase your 2023 Season Pass, you won't get access to the early ride access event to Big Bear Mountain. You'll also miss out on the lowest price!
