Dollywood's DreamMore Resort and Spa's 2023 Winter Music Series has officially begun. After breathtaking performances from The Young Fables, who played at the resort from Jan. 13 - Jan. 15, T. Graham Brown who celebrated his 50th year in show business with our audiences on Jan. 20 - 21.

The Winter Music Series debuted in 2022 as a way to keep the magic of Dollywood flowing while the park is closed during the winter months and to offer a chance for guests to experience country music in a way that is up close and personal. Being that Dollywood Parks and Resorts is all about celebrating Dolly's music, we think it's fitting to highlight the sound of other musicians as well. This event is perfect for anyone who loves live music. There is nothing I enjoy more than witnessing musicians express their raw talent and emotion for an audience, and I know authenticity when I see it. This is why I cannot speak highly enough about the musicians featured in the Winter Music Series.

Winter Music Series The Fables

There is no shortage of talent here. After this past weekend featuring ACM Female Vocalist of the Year winner Sylvia, who dazzled audiences, we'll next host Grammy Award winner and Grand Ole Opry member Jeannie Seely is set to take the stage on Feb. 3 - 4. Music critic Robert K. Oermann spoke about Seely in his book, “Finding her Voice: Women in Country Music,” (1993) writing, “With her chin-out, tough/tender, heart-of-gold manner, Jeannie Seely remains one of country's most completely modern female personalities.”

If you were lucky enough to grab tickets, join Aaron Tippin on Feb. 10 - 11 for his SOLD-OUT performances. His debut single, “You've Got to Stand for Something,” became an anthem for American soldiers during the Gulf War, and he has since related to listeners over his devotion to God, country and family. Tippin considers his audience just that: family. They undoubtedly return for more of his talent, which is noted through his six gold albums and one platinum album.

On Feb. 17 - 18, come see Marty Haggard. Son of the singer-songwriter Merle Haggard, Marty shares his father's love of music. Joining his father on tour as a child, Haggard grew up getting to know country music legends, including Bob Willis and Johnny Cash. He proves his own talent with his record of five singles charted on the Hot Country Songs charts from 1981 through 1987. He has toured throughout the United States, Canada, Ireland, Scotland and England. Additionally, Marty pays tribute by playing some of his father's well-known songs.

Spend the evenings of Feb. 24 - 25 with singer-songwriter, producer, actor and philanthropist Mark Collie. Collie's musical accomplishments include sixteen singles reaching the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, and his career has spanned across eight studio albums, with four for the major record label MCA Nashville and one for Giant Records. Collie also has worked with Aaron Tippin, Tim McGraw and Garth Brooks.

To close off the series, singer-songwriter Linda Davis will perform March 3 - 4. Davis has released five studio albums with major record labels. Her collaboration with Reba McEntire, “Does He Love You,” released in 1993, is her highest-charting single, reaching number one on the Billboard country charts and winning both singers the Grammy Award for Best Country Vocal Collaboration. Davis also won the Grammy for Best Contemporary Album and Best Contemporary Christian Song on the album “Love Remains” recorded with her husband and daughter, country singers Lang and Hillary Scott.

Winter Music Series Crowd

The Winter Music Series will continue to run through February and the beginning of March, with performances every Friday and Saturday until March 4. Performances begin at 8 p.m. and will take place on the resort's event lawn under a climate-controlled tent. This is a perfect way to get out of the house while still staying warm and cozy during the cold winter nights. Don't miss it!

Tickets are available to resort guests and to the general public. They can be purchased as part of a room package, which includes a room type of your choice (based on availability) and TWO admission tickets to each night of music during your stay. For anyone not staying at Dollywood's DreamMore Resort, individual tickets can be purchased for $20 each (or $15 for Season Passholders).

Guests can purchase tickets here, or call 1-800-Dollywood (Option 2) to add tickets to existing resort reservations.
